Exchange and Return policy – Boter\u00eda Negreiros<\/h1>\n\n

Introduction<\/h2>\n\n

In Boter\u00eda Negreiros<\/strong> we worked from 1940 developing footwear, hand-made, and we undertake to the satisfaction of each client. This policy sets out the conditions under which we may request changes or returns of products purchased through our online store boterianegreiros.com<\/strong>in our physical store (Street The Houses 041, San Isidro) and our channels of direct sales (WhatsApp and e-mail).<\/p>\n\n

This policy is governed by the Code of Protection and Consumer protection (Law No. 29571)<\/strong> and other rules peruvian applicable.<\/p>\n\n

Scope of application<\/h2>\n\n

This policy applies to:<\/p>\n\n

    \n
  • Footwear in stock<\/strong> (collection of current available in the sizes and colors listed).<\/li>\n\n
  • Handbags and accessories in leather<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    To ordering custom (made to order)<\/strong> apply special conditions described in section 4, given that it is customized products and manufactured exclusively for the client.<\/p>\n\n

    1. General terms and conditions for returns and exchanges (products in stock)<\/h2>\n\n

    For a product in stock is eligible for refund or exchange, the following conditions must exist:<\/p>\n\n

      \n
    • Maximum term:<\/strong> the request must be made within the seven (7) calendar days<\/strong> subsequent to the receipt of the product.<\/li>\n\n
    • The product must be without use<\/strong>, without signs of wear on the sole, without folds in the leather, no scratches or deformations, and with the leather interior clean.<\/li>\n\n
    • Footwear must be delivered in its original box<\/strong>, with cloth bags, paper padding, tags and accessories (for example, bending, biters or pairs of pins additional) included.<\/li>\n\n
    • It is essential to show the proof of purchase<\/strong> (the invoice) and the order number<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      Recommendation to try the footwear<\/h3>\n\n

      To preserve the eligibility of the product in case of a change, we suggest you to try it on a clean surface and carpeted<\/strong>with stockings, and avoid walking on floors that can make the sole. Just walk a few steps to check the fit.<\/p>\n\n

      2. Change by size<\/h2>\n\n

      We recognize that the fit is decisive in a footwear made by hand. This is why we offer the following process-specific changes in size in stock products:<\/p>\n\n

        \n
      • The size exchange must be requested within the seven (7) calendar days<\/strong> subsequent to the reception.<\/li>\n\n
      • Subject to stock availability<\/strong> in the size requested, within the same model and color.<\/li>\n\n
      • If the size requested is not available in stock, you can choose to: (i) to wait for the replacement, (ii) development request of the applicable period, (iii) exchange the product for another model of the same value, or (iv) issuance of a credit balance, no expiration date.<\/li>\n\n
      • Shoes must be in the conditions described in section 1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

        Change of size in physical store:<\/strong> the customers of Lima can come directly to our shop in the Street The Houses 041, San Isidro, to try on other sizes or models, and coordinate the change immediately.<\/p>\n\n

        3. Products not eligible for exchange or refund<\/h2>\n\n

        For its nature and for reasons of hygiene, are not eligible<\/strong> to change or return:<\/p>\n\n

        • Order as<\/strong> (made to order), except for manufacturing defect attributable to Boter\u00eda Negreiros (see section 4).<\/li>\n\n
        • Shoes, bags or accessories that show signs of use, dirt, odors, marks on the sole, the folds in the leather or alterations to the original product.<\/li>\n\n
        • Products delivered without packaging, labels, or accessories.<\/li>\n\n
        • Products purchased with special discounts settlement explicitly identified as \"final sale\" at the time of purchase, except for manufacturing defect.<\/li>\n\n
        • Services already implemented (for example, service lift after the change is made outsole).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

          4. Ordering custom (made to order)<\/h2>\n\n

          The orders as they are made exclusively for each customer, according to your measurements, choice of shoe, leather, color, outsole and details. For your custom character:<\/p>\n\n

          • Do not support change or refund<\/strong> once in production, except for manufacturing defect attributable to Boter\u00eda Negreiros.<\/li>\n\n
          • The settings fit<\/strong> (for example, small modifications to improve the fit) are included and are made in the workshop at no additional cost, within the 30 calendar days<\/strong> subsequent to the delivery. These settings do not apply when the mismatch responds to bodily changes of the client (for example, weight gain or weight loss, seasonal changes, or template).<\/li>\n\n
          • If there is a manufacturing defect in order to measure, apply the warranty craft described in section 7.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

            5. Process to apply for a change or return<\/h2>\n\n

              • Please provide us with your order number<\/strong>, the product data<\/strong> (model, size, color) and the reason<\/strong> of the application. Attached clear photographs<\/strong> of the product, out of the box and labels.<\/li>\n\n
              • You will receive a response within a maximum period of 48 hours<\/strong> confirming if your request is appropriate and the instructions for the shipment and \/ or delivery of the product.<\/li>\n\n
              • Once the product is received in our workshop, it will be evaluated by our team of artisan<\/strong> to verify compliance with the terms of this policy.<\/li>\n\n
              • Approved the request, we will proceed with the exchange or refund according to the chosen mode.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

                6. Modalities of exchange and refund<\/h2>\n\n

                If your application is approved, you can choose between:<\/p>\n\n

                • Replacement by the same reference<\/strong> in another size (subject to stock).<\/li>\n\n
                • Exchange for another model<\/strong> of the same value or higher value by paying the difference.<\/li>\n\n
                • Change by an order as<\/strong>apply for the price and time limit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                  Refund details<\/h3>\n\n

                  • Money back<\/strong> the same means of payment used in the purchase.<\/li>\n\n
                  • Credit balance<\/strong> (trade credit) for future purchases in Boter\u00eda Negreiros, without an expiration date.<\/li>\n\n
                  • Credit note<\/strong> for purchases with invoice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                    Estimated time for the refund<\/h3>\n\n

                    • Credit or debit card:<\/strong> between 5 and 10 working days<\/strong> since the approval, according to the times of the issuing bank.<\/li>\n\n
                    • Bank transfer and digital wallets:<\/strong> between 3 and 5 business days<\/strong> since the approval.<\/li>\n\n

                      7. Warranty artisanal manufacturing defects<\/h2>\n\n

                      To be Boter\u00eda Negreiros the manufacturer-direct products, we offer a warranty craft<\/strong> that covers manufacturing defects attributable to our workshop.<\/p>\n\n

                      Coverage<\/h3>\n\n

                      The warranty covers defects relating to:<\/p>\n\n

                        \n
                      • Defects in the seam hand-welted (double stitched).<\/li>\n\n
                      • Abruption of the sole.<\/li>\n\n
                      • Obvious defects of the leather is not visible at the time of delivery.<\/li>\n\n
                      • Errors of assembly or assembly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                        Warranty period<\/h3>\n\n
                          \n
                        • 90 calendar days<\/strong> from the date of delivery for footwear stock and handbags.<\/li>\n\n

                          Exclusions of the warranty<\/h3>\n\n

                          Warranty does not cover<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n

                          • Normal wear and use (sole, studs, templates, glow of the leather).<\/li>\n\n
                          • Damage by prolonged exposure to water, sun, heat, chemicals, creams are not appropriate or solvents.<\/li>\n\n
                          • Scratches, cuts, burns, or broken by accident or misuse.<\/li>\n\n
                          • Modifications or repairs carried out by third parties not related to Boter\u00eda Negreiros.<\/li>\n\n
                          • Aesthetic changes characteristic of the living nature of the leather (natural markings, variations of tone with the use, wrinkles bending).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                            Procedure<\/h3>\n\n

                            To enforce the warranty, please contact info@boterianegreiros.com or WhatsApp +51 967 218 853 attaching: order number, or bill, pictures of the defect and description of the use that you've given to the footwear. Our team will assess the application and to proceed, we will offer the repair shop, the replacement (subject to stock or new development) or a refund, as appropriate.<\/p>\n\n

                            8. Cost and responsibility of the shipping<\/h2>\n\n
                              \n
                            • The shipping costs<\/strong> associated to a replacement or refund shall be borne by the client<\/strong>when the application is not due to an error of Boter\u00eda Negreiros.<\/li>\n\n
                            • In the case of product defective, damaged during transit or errors in the order<\/strong> (different product than the one requested, missing, etc), Boter\u00eda Negreiros assumes all costs of collection and forwarding.<\/li>\n\n
                            • The customer is responsible for pack properly<\/strong> the product (preferably in the original box, without attach tape or labels directly on it\u2014 to avoid damage in transit. Products received with damage attributable to poor packaging may be rejected.<\/li>\n\n
                            • Removal and delivery in-store:<\/strong> the customers of Lima can coordinate the delivery and pick up of the product directly in our store in San Isidro, without shipping cost.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                              9. Defective products or shipping error<\/h2>\n\n

                              If the product has a manufacturing defect or shipped by error an item different to the one requested, the request may be made within 30 calendar days<\/strong> after receipt, and shall apply the following special conditions:<\/p>\n\n

                              • Replacement priority for the correct product or equivalent.<\/li>\n\n
                              • Full refund of the amount paid if stock is not available and the client does not want to wait for a new development.<\/li>\n\n
                              • Assumption of the total costs of collection and forwarding by Boter\u00eda Negreiros.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                                10. Service remount and maintenance<\/h2>\n\n

                                Boter\u00eda Negreiros offers service lift<\/strong> (change outsole and renewal of cork) for the footwear, crafted in our workshop, respecting its original structure and the technique of hand-welted. This service:<\/p>\n\n

                                • It does not form part of the warranty and comes at a cost independent, listed according to the model and the state of the footwear.<\/li>\n\n
                                • Coordinates directly in the shop or by WhatsApp.<\/li>\n\n
                                • It is a recommended alternative to the natural wear of the outsole and significantly prolongs the service life of the footwear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
